David Vaughan Icke (born 29 April 1952) is an English professional conspiracy theorist and former sports broadcaster.
He is the author of over 20 books and numerous DVDs and has lectured in over 25 countries.
Icke visited a psychic in 1990, who told him he would begin to receive messages from the spirit world.
The events led him to announce that the world would soon be devastated by tidal waves and earthquakes, repeated on the BBC’s show, Wogan.
The show turned him from a respected household name into someone who received widespread public ridicule.
Over the next 11 years Icke wrote several books, in which he developed his worldview of New Age conspiracism.
His endorsement of the anti-semitic The Protocols of the Elders of Zion led his publisher to refuse to publish his books.
Icke believes that the universe is made up of “vibrational” energy and consists of an infinite number of dimensions that share the same space.
He believes that a race of reptilian beings, called the Anunnaki, have hijacked the earth.
Also, a genetically modified human–Archon hybrid race of shape-shifting reptilians, AKA New World Order, Illuminati or Global elite, manipulate global events.
This is to keep humans in constant fear, so the Archons can feed off the ‘negative energy’ this creates.
He claims many prominent figures belong to this race and are propelling humanity toward an Orwellian fascist state, where freedom of speech is ended.
Icke believes that the only way this ‘Archontic’ influence can be defeated is, if people wake up to “the truth” and fill their hearts with love.
Critics have accused Icke of being a Holocaust denier and antisemite, claims he denies.
